I’m sorry to hear the texture didn’t work well for you. Since we use non-nano zinc oxide (the safest mineral UV blocker) and zero fillers or chemical emulsifiers, the consistency can feel different than typical store-bought sunscreens. That said, many of our customers say they’re surprised by how well it blends in and isnt white like so many others, once they get the hang of it—so I wanted to pass along a few quick tips that might help:

✨ Apply to warm, slightly damp skin – It helps the tallow and oils melt right in.
✨ Start with a small amount and warm it between your fingers – A little goes a long way, and warming it first helps it glide better.
✨ Work in small sections – Like one arm or cheek at a time. This makes it easier to blend.
✨ Give it a minute to absorb – You’ll notice any initial cast tends to fade quickly.
✨ Layer over our Tallow Balm or moisturizer (optional) – This can help it melt in even more easily, especially if your skin is on the drier side.

Best non toxic sunscreen that works!

I was looking for a toxic free sun bock I could trust to protect my skin from the sun and free of chemicals. This is it!

I wore this sunblock during a week long band camp and I did not burn once.

We used it while at the Lake and again no burns.

This product leaves your skin so soft and a little bit goes a long way. A win win for me!
